Aireen Omar is President of AirAsia Digital (formerly known as RedBeat Ventures). She is responsible for AirAsia’s digital strategy, promoting innovation throughout the group and encouraging collaboration across AirAsia’s businesses and markets.

She oversees large, digital strategic group-wide initiatives to help transform AirAsia Group into a global, cloud and data-driven and platform company. At AirAsia Digital, Aireen is also pivotal in incubating and growing the digital and fintech businesses such as BigLife, BigPay, Teleport, Santan and in transforming airasia.com into more than just an airline platform.

Vernon is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Innergia Labs, where he drives the business’s vision and ambition towards a global presence while taking a hands-on approach to new product developments and market entries.

Vernon’s passion for Information Technology started in his teens and has not wavered since. After receiving his Bachelor of Information Systems from the University of Melbourne, he began his career as an analyst programmer in Melbourne. Since then, he gathered a wealth of experience in various roles — as a consultant leading a team providing project management services to a government-linked financial institution; and, as a partner at an IT firm overseeing the development and commercialisation of new products and technologies — before starting Innergia Labs.

Almizar is a Kudat-born marketer who graduated from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia with a Bachelor Degree in International Business and currently pursuing his MBA with a specialism in Marketing at Heriot-Watt University.

As the first Sabahan who had been awarded the prestigious UEM Scholarship, Almizar started his career as Business Development Executive at UEM Edgenta Berhad in 2014 under Young Graduate Programme; a Management Trainee Talent Programme by UEM Group that aims to nurture new, chosen talents to be future leaders of the company. He was later assigned to the Sales & Marketing Department of UEM Sunrise where he was responsible for the marketing strategy and initiative of a 448-acres integrated township in Bangi Selangor, before becoming the Head of Operations for a medical company in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.

William Heng is currently the Head of Fintech, Ecosystem and Innovation within UOB Malaysia’s Channels and Digitisation division. His career in banking started in 2003 when he was tasked at driving digital transformation initiative as the advent of technology began to evolve customers’ banking behaviour. Seeing the need to also support businesses adapt in an ever-changing digital-driven economy, William is now leading a team to position the bank as a digital ecosystem enabler.
